The Cornwall Karate Club would like to sincerely thank all of the students, parents and volunteers who have given us another enjoyable and successful karate year!
In the past 2017-18 karate year we sent a team to the Tsuruoka National Championships in Kansas City in July 2017, and were invited with out sister club, the Island Karate Club, to host the very successful, first-ever Tsuruoka Atlantic Championships in May 2018. In the coming 2018-19 karate year we will we will be sending a team to the 2019 Tsuruoka Nationals in Toronto.
Important dates coming up:
- Friday, June 15: Last day of class
- Wednesday, June 13: No class due to band concert
The 2018-19 karate year will commence in early September once the school reopens. We will post an announcement when we have the exact date. We will be taking new junior and senior students during the month of September.
Over the summer, summer classes will be held at the Island Karate Club dojo in Stratford at the Our Lady of the Assumption Church hall every Monday at 7 pm. Cornwall students are all welcome to attend, just be aware that summer classes are geared to an advanced level.
